Netflix, Inc. (Nasdaq: NFLX) received the dreaded sell rating from BofA after the close
Goldman envious brokers, Bear Stearns Companies Inc. (NYSE: BSC) and Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. (NYSE: LEH) are on deck to report earnings before the bell.
Progen Industries Ltd. (Nasdaq: PGLA) ran-up up a mere 120% today on positive trials for its liver cancer treatment. We could see more interest tomorrow or it could see profit-tacking. Monster hedge fund SAC Capital is involved with this one.
Today's IPOs IPG Photonics (Nasdaq: IPGP) (+55%) and Guidance Software (Nasdaq: GUID) had huge days. Watch for continued action.
The airline group was higher today after reports UAL Corp. (Nasdaq: UAUA) and Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) held exploratory merger talks and Midwest Air Group Inc. (NYSE: MEH) rejected a bid from AirTran Holdings Inc. (NYSE: AAI). Look for more consolidation chatter.
In techland, Adobe Systems (Nasdaq: ADBE) and Ciena (NYSE: CIEN) are on deck for earnings. CIEN reports before the bell and ADBE after.
POZEN (NASDAQ: POZN) took an 11% beating today after the FDA said it wants more data on Trexima.
TiVo Inc. (Nasdaq: TIVO) was up 5% on Google takeover/partnership rumors. We'll see if the momentum carries-over for the beaten-up name.
